Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani welcomed the progress in forming the new Assembly. She noted the process is finally moving forward and hopes it will conclude soon, in line with the constitution.

In a social media post, the Presidency congratulated the newly elected Assembly Speaker Dimal Basha and deputies Albulena Haxhiu, Vlora Çitaku, Kujtim Shala, and Emilija Redžepi.

President Osmani called on the Assembly to continue with the next constitutional steps and to vote on the new government formed after the February 9 parliamentary elections.

“She hopes the Assembly will soon vote on the new government, reflecting the will of the citizens,” the post said.
