The EU special envoy for the Kosova-Serbia dialogue, Peter Sorensen, said today that normalizing relations between the two countries is very important.

On social media platform X, Sorensen reported that his meetings with Vucic on August 26 in Belgrade focused on preparations for upcoming dialogue sessions.

“After my visit to Prishtina in early August, I went to Belgrade today for preparatory talks for the upcoming dialogue meetings. I listened carefully to my interlocutors and stressed the importance of normalization for the people on the ground,” Sorensen said.

President Vucic emphasized the importance of returning the dialogue to its core obligations. He highlighted the need to form the Union of Serbian Municipalities and to protect the rights of Serbs in Kosova.
