Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Elisa Spiropali held a meeting in New York with Kosova’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla.

Spiropali described it as a “friendly working meeting with Donika Gërvalla, where not even coincidence could avoid the red and black,” in a social media post.

She is in New York as part of the high-level delegation led by President Bajram Begaj, attending the UN General Assembly sessions.

At the invitation of the UN General Assembly President Annalena Baerbock, Spiropali will also attend the annual meeting of the UN General Assembly Women Leaders Platform.

In addition, Spiropali represents Albania in several important bilateral and multilateral meetings focusing on international security, sustainable development, and human rights.
