The Tirana Art Gallery presented a collection of traditional and modern carpets in the exhibition titled “May the Hand That Creates Be Healthy – The Art of Carpets: Azerbaijan & Albania.”

The exhibition highlights the weaving tradition through stories, techniques, and the craftsmanship of artisans who keep this heritage alive. The colorful carpets create a cultural meeting point, as artisans from Albania and Azerbaijan share their works, experiences, and the passion passed down through generations.

This dialogue between Azerbaijani and Albanian carpet art remains open to the public until 20 January 2026.

The exhibition “May the Hand That Creates Be Healthy!” is curated by Edit Pula and Azerkhalcha.

GAT says this project marks an important collaboration between the Tirana Art Gallery and Azerkhalcha. The partnership began nine months ago with the support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan.
