“Scent of Hungary” Comes to Korça: Photographer Roland Tasho Exhibition

TIRANA, November 26 – Photographer Roland Tasho has brought a traveling exhibition to Korça titled ‘Scent of Hungary’. The exhibition includes around 40 photographs taken in Hungary. They highlight the beauty and cultural identity of Budapest and other regions through Tasho’s artistic perspective.

“Some images show Budapest’s beauty. Others feature diplomats. A few portray Albanians living in Hungary. Korça also appears in the exhibition,” Roland Tasho said.

The Hungarian Embassy and the Municipality of Korça supported the event. The exhibition marks an important moment in the city’s cultural calendar.

Martina Kasnyik, Hungarian Ambassador to Albania, said, “Roland Tasho is a friend of Hungary and a great Albanian photographer. This is our second exhibition in Albania. It shows meaningful cooperation between our countries. Roland explains how Albanians live in Hungary and how Hungarians live in Albania. He also builds bridges between the two nations”.

Roland Tasho has worked in photography for 42 years. He has organized around 100 exhibitions in Albania and abroad. He has published 16 photography books. He has won seven national and international awards.
