FELT 2025: A day dedicated to young readers in Tirana

The EU Delegation in Tirana announced that the fourth day of the European Literature Festival (FELT 2025) will focus on young readers, with activities spread across several educational and cultural institutions in the capital.

At the “Asim Vokshi” Foreign Language High School, Austrian-Slovenian writer Maja Haderlap and translator Blerta Lazebeu will read excerpts, share insights, and discuss with students the role of literature in preserving memory, confronting the past and shaping identity in a globalized world.

Meanwhile, at the “Protagonistët” High School, Greek author Christos Kythreotis will lead a conversation with students on identity, youth and migration.

Later in the day, the program moves to the House of Europe with a creative writing masterclass by Dario Voltolini and a talk with Nadia Terranova.

At the Faculty of History and Philology, Philippe Collin will engage journalism and communication students in a discussion on podcasts, media and history.

The evening concludes at the Tulla Cultural Center with a talk on the work of Wisława Szymborska featuring Michał Rusinek, followed by another discussion with Kythreotis on youth, identity and migration in contemporary literature.

The EU Delegation invites the public to explore the full program of Day 4 and join the European Literature Festival in Tirana.
