December turns Korça into a festive cultural hub

This December, Korça will transform into a lively stage of celebrations. Shows, concerts, and artistic activities will bring energy and excitement up to New Year’s Eve. Organizers say this December will be one of the busiest in recent years, offering a unique cultural and festive experience for the entire city.
“I want to highlight the premiere of the symphony orchestra under conductor Petrika Afezolli. The program will follow a festive theme. This year, we will also stage the musical ‘The Hunchback of Paris,’ directed by Xhuliano Brisku.
Korça actors will perform and sing, alongside guest artists from the capital. In addition to the a cappella choir, the youth choir will premiere on December 26. They have chosen popular international hits that bring joy and celebration.
I also want to highlight the Korça guitar tradition, which has continued for three years. This year, we will feature even more guitars from past performances.
The a cappella choir, led by Trimor Dhomi, will perform Christmas serenades on December 25. We will also have a recital by Jorgjeta Lalazi, known as the queen of Korça serenades,” said Blerta Belliu, Director of the “Vangjush Mio” Cultural Center.
Korça once again confirms its tradition as Albania’s capital of culture and art, just in time for the holiday season.
