TIRANA, December 8 – As part of the National Youth Day, a series of activities will take place today at the Pyramid of Tirana.

The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Blendi Gonxhja, one of the December ’90 students, invited citizens and young people to join these events. He said the activities focus on creativity and the engagement of the new generation.

Gonxhja shared moments on social media that recall the 1990 student movement.

He also invited young people to participate in activities organized today at the Pyramid by the National Youth Agency.

Planned activities include creative spaces, discussions, artistic performances, and immersive multimedia experiences. The focus will be on creativity, active participation, and cooperation among youth.

The 8th of December, declared the National Youth Day, commemorates the 1990 student movement. This movement marked the start of democratic changes in Albania.
