TIRANA, December 12 – Construction for the Maritime Museum in Shkodër and the new event square continued at a fast pace.

The project aimed to create a modern space for residents and visitors. It combined culture, history, and maritime tradition with urban development.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images of the project. He said the complex would allow citizens and visitors to explore the city’s history, culture, and maritime heritage.

Mayor Benet Beci said the area would give Shkodër a European identity. He added that the city expected to complete the works by June 2026. The project would transform the city entrance into an attractive and modern zone.
