President Vjosa Osmani has sent an official letter to the White House, formally announcing Kosovo’s decision to join U.S. First Lady Melania Trump’s global coalition “Building the Future Together.” The initiative aims to protect and empower children and youth.

Moreover, Osmani confirms that Kosovo will participate actively and contribute in a meaningful way to this international effort.

She explains that Kosovo understands the importance of protecting children and creating a safe environment where they can grow and thrive. Since Kosovo rose from the ashes of war and moved toward freedom, peace, and democracy with strong U.S. support, the country now recognizes the moral value of this initiative.
Therefore, Osmani says the project aligns with Kosovo’s commitment to defend children, support their dignity, invest in their education, and build a future rooted in security, opportunity, and strong family values.

Furthermore, Osmani stresses that investing in children and strong families remains the most powerful investment in peace, security, and the future. With the youngest population in Europe, Kosovo stands ready to offer expertise, innovation, and solid partnership to this global cause.

“Kosovo is proud to stand with President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and all countries committed to ensuring that every child grows up safe, empowered, and free. After all, the future we build for our children is the future that will define us all,” the statement posted on X reads.
