TIRANA, December 15 – Works began as crews installed the ice structure in the square of the panoramic tower. The area hosted hundreds of visitors, families, and young people every December.

After the installation ended, organizers carried out test runs to check readiness. They also assessed weather conditions.

The ice skating rink opened to the public throughout the winter season. It brought liveliness and a festive atmosphere to the city.

In addition, decorative lighting, music, and surrounding activities turned the area into one of the most visited spots in Korça.

Meanwhile, sources at the municipality said the rink served not only as entertainment but also as a boost to winter tourism. The sector brought a large number of visitors to the southeastern city each year.

The Korça Business Improvement District association installed the rink in cooperation with the municipality for more than 10 consecutive years. As a result, children and adults who enjoyed ice skating had the opportunity to skate.

With the installation of the rink, Korça once again confirmed its tradition of creating one of the country’s most festive atmospheres.
