TIRANA, December 15 – Gjirokastër came alive with a festive atmosphere as art and culture took center stage. A rich calendar of artistic events turned the stone city into an open space of creativity, attracting residents and visitors of all ages.

The National Circus Troupe performed a dynamic show full of color and emotion. Children and adults followed the performance with great interest. Circus artist Gerald Shima said it was always a pleasure to bring circus art to audiences and to share joy and emotion during the festive period.

The festive mood continued with a classical music concert in the city’s museum area. Italian artists soprano Barbara Luccini and pianist Aliano Fridani performed opera pieces and well-known film music. Luccini expressed admiration for Gjirokastër and the warm reception of the audience. Fridani dedicated the concert to Ennio Morricone and thanked the audience for their love of art.

Cultural activities will continue throughout the festive period, keeping Gjirokastër lively and strengthening its appeal as a winter tourist destination.
