Albania’s delegation from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sports attended the ministerial meeting of the Council of Ministers of Culture of Southeast Europe (CoMoCoSEE). UNESCO co-organized the event.

The meeting provides a key platform to strengthen regional cooperation. It also emphasizes placing culture at the center of sustainable development.

Deputy Minister Lira Pipa presented Albania’s commitments and priorities. She highlighted cultural heritage protection, digitalization, and the empowerment of creative industries. She also stressed the role of communities and youth in cultural policies.

Furthermore, Minister Blendi Gonxhja said on social media that Albania’s participation reaffirms its active role in regional cultural dialogue. He emphasized the country’s commitment to turning cultural heritage into a driver of development, cooperation, and shared identity.
