The Albanian National Olympic Committee (KOKSH) today expressed condolences for the passing of sports journalist Ismet Bellova. It praised him as one of the most emblematic voices and a founder of sports journalism in Albania.

With his distinctive voice and refined Albanian language, Bellova commented on major national and international sports events for 70 years. As a result, he left an enduring mark on Albania’s sports history, KOKSH said.

Moreover, KOKSH highlighted his contribution beyond journalism. Bellova also served as a leader of Special Olympics Albania. Through this role, he made a lasting impact on Albanian sport.
