Osmani Discusses Restarting Strategic Dialogue with the U.S.

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani said she met with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau to discuss restarting the strategic dialogue between Kosovo and the United States.
During the meeting, Osmani also addressed bilateral cooperation, security, peace, the economy, and Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
She highlighted the recent signing of a U.S. law by President Donald Trump, which includes Kosovo. The law supports Kosovo’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, excludes border changes, and emphasizes that dialogue with Serbia must be based on mutual recognition.
Osmani added that coordination with the U.S. is essential for moving forward. She said Kosovo must maintain continuous dialogue with its key strategic ally and take the necessary steps to revive the strategic dialogue.
Finally, Osmani stressed U.S. support for Kosovo’s NATO membership and strategic economic investments. She expressed full confidence in the Trump administration and underlined the importance of continuous cooperation with the United States.
