“Albania’s Got Talent” finalist Dashnor Bushi was the latest guest on the “Flasim” podcast with Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Born and raised in Kavajë, Bushi later moved to Italy. There, his son Nikolas was born. Nikolas trained as a ventriloquist and also became a winner of “Albania’s Got Talent.”

After several years in Kavajë, the family emigrated together to the U.S., where Dashnor practiced illusionism, and Nikolas trained as a ventriloquist.

Known for his magic tricks, Bushi performed several illusions live on the podcast, surprising Prime Minister Rama and the other guest in the studio.

Bushi said card tricks have been his passion since youth. “Card tricks are my passion because they require skill and hard work,” he explained.

He also shared that he moved to the U.S. in 2013. Regarding Albania, he noted some positive changes in the magic scene. “Our people are challenging for this kind of art, but I love my work and perform to entertain the audience,” Bushi said.
