Kosovan Acting PM Kurti in Davos: Kosova records continuous economic growth

TIRANA, January 22 – Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti said in Davos that Kosova offers unique investment opportunities. He highlighted the country’s institutional stability, government reliability, and the potential of its youth.
Kurti told that Kosova presents opportunities not only as a market or production platform but also as a state with favorable fiscal policies. He added that investors can engage energetic, talented, and multilingual young people.
He noted that Kosova lies at the heart of the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and North Africa). This geographic position makes it attractive for establishing branches and new businesses.
Kurti emphasized that, even during geopolitical turbulence and disruptions in global trade, investors can trust Kosova. He described the country as a democratic state with rule of law and institutional predictability.
He underlined that Kosova records continuous economic growth. He added that the economy grows every year and that foreign-owned enterprises have increased by 55% over the past four years.
Regarding his activities in Davos, Kurti said this year’s participation was more intensive than before. He attended more panels and held more bilateral meetings. He thanked entrepreneurs from the diaspora, calling Kosova House this year the “Vatra e Talentit” [Home of Talent], a meeting place for guests from around the world.
Kurti also highlighted the importance of trust in politics and public institutions. He stressed that it is crucial not only for social cohesion and crisis resilience but also for economic development and national progress.
