Albanian journalist Rezarta Reçi passed away today at the age of 64, after a long battle with breast cancer.

She began her media career more than 30 years ago. She worked as an author and TV host in several television formats.

Reçi became widely known for the program “Arratia e Peshkut të Kuq” on News24. Through the show, she interviewed public figures and shared strong social and human stories.

In addition, she published two books, titled “Kolonë Zanore” and “Zhbërja”.

Throughout the years, Reçi spoke openly about her fight with breast cancer. As a result, she became a symbol of courage and strength for many women and girls.
