Shkodra held a meeting on local plants and animals. The first meeting focused on cultural heritage around Lake Shkodra.

The project “Projection on the Lake” involves DRTK Shkodra, COD, Shkodra Municipality, local high schools, and Luigj Gurakuqi University. It has three goals:

• Protect the environment: Volunteers clean the lake and its shores of plastic waste, especially bottles.
• Promote creativity: Students create a symbolic installation showing the lake’s cultural heritage, plants, and animals.
• Raise awareness: Youth build a mosaic from painted plastic bottles collected during the cleanup.

The project links environmental care with art and civic education. It focuses on Lake Shkodra, a valuable natural and cultural site. The lake may soon join UNESCO as a Transboundary Biosphere Reserve.
