President Bajram Begaj held a meeting in Milan with a delegation of Arbëreshë who live and work in the Lombardy region.

President Begaj emphasized that the Arbëreshë of Lombardy, along with those in Calabria, Sicily, Molise, and across Italy, form a strong foundation for the friendship bridge between Albania and Italy, a bond that grows stronger every day.

He also highlighted the importance of this historic diaspora, noting that it serves as a model for the new Albanian diaspora by preserving and promoting the nation’s linguistic and cultural heritage.
