TIRANA, February 17 – The anniversary of the first lectures at Tetova University marks one of the most important moments in the history of Albanian-language education in North Macedonia.

President Bajram Begaj shared a message on social network X to mark the occasion. He extended his congratulations to Tetova University on the anniversary of its first lectures. He described the event as historic and built on sacrifice, dedication, and vision.

Begaj stressed that the university represents a victory of knowledge, culture, and national identity. He added that it stands as a symbol of resilience and hope for younger generations.

“Glory to those who sacrificed for this noble ideal. I hope Tetova University continues to grow and strengthen while remaining a center of knowledge and progress,” Begaj said.

Today, Tetova University operates as a consolidated higher education institution. It offers dozens of study programs. It has graduated thousands of students over the years.
