The international conference “The Arbëreshë of Italy, A Civilization Between Two Shores of the Adriatic” took place in Bologna. Diana Kastrati, head of the Center for Arbëreshë Studies and Publications (CASP), attended the event.

The conference resulted from a collaboration between Aleksandër Xhuvani University, the University of Bologna, and other Albanian institutions, including University of Tirana, Luigj Gurakuqi University, and Ismail Qemali University.

CASP sent two researchers: Diana Kastrati and Vilma Proko. Professor Kastrati presented her paper, “Festina Lente – Tra desiderio e concretezza per un risorgimento dell’arbëreshità e della lingua arbëreshë nel nuovo millenio”, which explored reviving Arbëreshë identity and language in the new millennium.
