The deputies of the Kosovo Assembly will meet today in a plenary session to review the 2026 state budget allocation bill in full. The session starts at 11:00 a.m.

On Thursday, the budget bill passed the Assembly’s Budget and Finance Committee. The committee approved allocations for Pristina Municipality and Shtime Municipality within the 2026 budget allocation proposal.

Finance Minister Hekuran Murati presented the proposals. He noted that both municipalities met all requirements and recommended including their budgets in the tables.

On February 16, the Assembly approved the 2026 budget in principle with 66 votes in favor, 32 against, and five abstentions. The bill sets Kosovo’s total state budget for 2026 at approximately €4 billion.
