Bratko museum in southeastern Albania draws international visitors

Foreign visitors praise the uniqueness of this museum in southeastern Albania. Moreover, they appreciate that it serves as a cultural bridge between Albania and Asian countries. Many include the Bratko Museum as a must-see stop on their Korçë itineraries.
“We partially restored the museum and added space for our Japanese collection. So far, visitors mostly came from Europe and the Balkans,” said Bojana Shukulli, the museum’s curator.
“Friends visiting from Italy were amazed by this type of cultural wealth. They also appreciated Bratko’s gesture of donating this museum to our city,” added poet and translator Arjan Kallço.
At the same time, the museum has sparked strong interest among local school students and those from surrounding areas.
This steady flow of visitors shows that Bratko Museum remains a key reference point for cultural tourism in Korçë. Consequently, it combines international interest with the education of younger generations.
