TIRANA, March 5 – The constitutional deadline for electing the president of Kosova ends today, 5 March. Only one candidate has been proposed so far, MP Glauk Konjufca.

His candidacy was submitted with 30 signatures from Self-Determination Movement and the multi-ethnic parliamentary group. Voting cannot proceed until at least two candidates meet the required support.

According to Article 86 of the Kosova Constitution, the presidential election must take place no later than 30 days before the current president’s term ends.
