Ndre Mjeda Museum Center, the Museum House and Church are distinguished for their authentic details

Kukël is a small village between Lezha and Shkodra. It contains a church and the Museum House of one of the most important figures in Albanian culture, Ndre Mjeda. The Museum Center stands out for its authentic elements and details. The poet’s table is one of them.
“The museum, which is constructed with elements from his time and life thereafter, focuses on Ndre Mjeda’s table, where his works are written,” said Dom Nike Ukgjini, responsible for the Ndre Mjeda Museum Center.
The Ndre Mjeda Museum Center is open every day of the year. Organized school groups from Albania and Kosova are particularly interested in seeing it up close.
“The museum is visited by many people from Kosova, students, groups, and scholars,” said Pashko Gjonaj, caretaker of the Ndre Mjeda Museum Center.
Since 2011, the center hosts nationwide meetings called “Mjeda Days” with poets and scholars from across the country every year.
