The tourist spot of Boga experienced two beautiful festive days filled with songs, dances, and promotion of the values and traditions of the area.

With the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, in collaboration with farmers and livestock breeders from the Alpine regions, cultural associations, and folk artists from the foothills of the Albanian Alps and beyond, the cultural initiative “Transhumance National Cultural Identity,” protected by UNESCO, organized the cultural event “Shepherd’s Festival.”

The entire festive organization was closely tied to Xhubleta, where indigenous Albanian livestock grazed in the mountain pastures.

This culturally significant project aims to revive our shepherds’ way of life and showcase the agro-cultural treasures that our mountains offer.
