“AlBa” festival, this month with concerts dedicated to chamber music

In collaboration with the Potenza Conservatory, the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Albania (TKOBAP) continued to bring chamber music concerts this month with the “AlBa” festival, featuring performances by renowned Italian virtuosos.
“Song of Souls” is the title of the concert held on Tuesday, June 11, in the Concert Hall of the Opera House. The concert featured soprano Filomena Fittipaldi, who has made her debut in prestigious theaters across Italy and beyond, performing masterpieces such as “La Boheme,” “Turandot,” “Carmen,” and “Iris.” She performed pieces by Bellini, Schumann, Puccini, Mozart, De Curtis, and other distinguished composers. Fittipaldi was accompanied on the piano by Maria Sarli, a professor at the “Gesualdo da Venosa” Conservatory in Potenza.
The concert included pieces such as “Dolente immagine” by Bellini, “Après un rêve” by Fauré, “Widmung” by R. Schumann, and “Addio mio dolce amor!” by Puccini, among many others.
