This festival has kicked off the tourist season in Korçë with around 400 participants.

Inherited through centuries, the carnival festival transformed the city of Korçë into a parade of various costumes and masks, full of colors, with 6 groups from foreign countries participating.

The different groups took over Korça’s boulevard, parading majestically in a procession where each participant was accompanied by a story.

Characters from fairy tales, mythical beings, and real-life personalities brought through the colorful parades a fantastic atmosphere that attracted the attention of both local and foreign tourists.

Albanians living abroad also joined this celebration, while the participation of children with their selected costumes and masks further embellished this international festival.
