The esteemed painter Ilir Butka, renowned for his participation in numerous collective exhibitions, has now unveiled his inaugural solo exhibition, marking a pivotal moment in his career.

This momentous occasion signifies the culmination of four years of dedicated artistic endeavor, resulting in a collection of 90 captivating paintings that are already captivating art enthusiasts. Butka regards this exhibition as the zenith of his artistic journey.

Reflecting on his work, Butka describes his style as “pretty classic,” with a deliberate emphasis on simplicity and a departure from narrative elements.

Curator Petraq Papa, a close confidant of the artist, characterizes Butka’s paintings as a harmonious blend of realism and abstraction, seamlessly coexisting and complementing one another.

Entitled “Dichotomy,” the exhibition offers a compelling exploration of this artistic duality and will be on display until June 8th, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in Butka’s rich artistic tapestry.
