TIRANA, June 12 – President Bajram Begaj extended greetings on Kosova Liberation Day in a message shared on social media. He said Kosova’s freedom came through the sacrifice of thousands of men and women, the heroic struggle of the Kosova Liberation Army, and the determination of strategic allies.

He expressed gratitude to NATO. He said the alliance stood on the side of justice, freedom, and human dignity at one of the most decisive moments in the nation’s history.

In addition, he paid tribute to the fighters of the Kosova Liberation Army. He also honored the sacrifice of fallen soldiers and all those who contributed to Kosova’s freedom.

Begaj ended his message with a tribute to the fallen. He said “eternal glory to the martyrs of freedom.”
