TIRANA, August 24 – Water utility teams are carrying out network repairs in Durrës and Kavaja to improve water supply during the tourist season.

In Durrës, the Regional Water Supply and Sewerage Company said its Maintenance Directorate had repaired control valves at Dajlan Bridge. The work will help regulate and distribute water in the Beach area.

Meanwhile, workers remain in the field to maintain the network and ensure a more stable supply. Demand has increased during the tourist season.
In Kavaja, the local operational unit recently completed work to improve supply in one neighbourhood. Workers installed a secondary water supply line measuring about 100 metres, using a 50-millimetre-diameter pipe.

The authorities said the work aims to improve water supply and service quality for residents. Further network interventions will focus on maintaining infrastructure, reducing problems and ensuring more reliable water supply.
