More than 816,000 visitors stayed in accommodation facilities across Albania in July, with foreign tourists accounting for most of the increase. Data from the Institute of Statistics show that visitors from Kosova, Italy and Poland formed the largest groups among foreign tourists.

According to the latest data, accommodation facilities recorded 816,563 visitors in July, up from 708,605 in the same month of 2025. Non-resident visitors reached 622,660, compared with 526,302 a year earlier, marking an 18.3% increase.

Meanwhile, the number of resident visitors rose by 6.4% to 193,903. The figures show that foreign visitors drove most of the overall growth in accommodation activity during the month.

In addition, overnight stays increased by 14% compared with July 2025. Foreign visitors recorded a 17.3% increase in overnight stays. The figure for resident visitors rose by 4.4%.

Visitors from Kosova, Italy, Poland, France and Germany accounted for the largest share of foreign tourists staying in Albania during July, according to the Institute of Statistics.
