Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption Adea Pirdeni met today with European Union Ambassador to Albania Sofia Moreira de Sousa.

During the meeting, Pirdeni and Ambassador Moreira de Sousa discussed the next steps in Albania’s EU accession negotiations, public administration reform and the fight against corruption.

Pirdeni highlighted public administration reform and the fight against corruption as two key areas where authorities must deliver concrete results.

Moreover, she stressed that progress in these areas should produce tangible improvements in citizens’ everyday interactions with the state.

Meanwhile, the meeting focused on continuing Albania’s work within the EU negotiation process and advancing reforms in line with the country’s integration objectives.
