Prime Minister Edi Rama is set to address the United Nations General Assembly in New York today.

Before delivering his speech, Rama shared a photo on social media standing beside the Albanian flag at the UN headquarters.

“Proud of Albania,” Rama wrote alongside the image.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister is on a multi-day visit to the United States as part of Albania’s participation in the work of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the visit, Rama is accompanied by his wife, Linda Rama, and members of the official Albanian delegation.

The address comes as world leaders gather in New York to discuss major global challenges and international cooperation at the annual UN General Assembly session.
