Industrial production in Albania expanded in 2025, with higher output in construction materials, food and automotive components, according to data from the Institute of Statistics (INSTAT).

INSTAT published its PRODCOM Industrial Products Survey on Monday. The data showed higher production of several products important to the domestic and export markets. Portland cement production reached about 1.99 million tonnes, up 2.5% from 2024. Ready-mix concrete output increased 3.5% to 1.77 million tonnes.

Meanwhile, production also grew in the automotive supply industry. Output of insulated wire systems for vehicles reached about 263 million units, an annual increase of 8.7%.

The food industry also recorded higher output. Bread production reached 67,200 tonnes, up 8.4%. Sausage and similar meat products reached 13,300 tonnes.
In addition, mineral and carbonated water production increased to 5.09 million hectolitres from 4.98 million hectolitres in 2024. Food products accounted for 16.4% of total industrial product sales, the largest share among industrial activities. Non-metallic mineral products followed with 14.4%.
