Ahead of National Cultural Heritage Day, the Regional Directorate of Cultural Heritage in Berat presented an open-air exhibition featuring the city’s rich cultural heritage.

The exhibition showcases views of traditional Berat homes, places of worship and icons created by Onufri, the Çetiri brothers and anonymous painters.

The organizers placed the exhibition at the entrance of the city’s promenade, with Mangalem providing the backdrop. As a result, Berat turned its public spaces into a living open-air museum.

The exhibition has attracted the attention of tourists, who continue to visit Berat in large numbers throughout September. Many visitors have stopped to explore the city’s history, art and cultural heritage.

The event offered a special opportunity to connect with Berat’s history, art and identity. Here, the city’s heritage continues to live and interact with visitors every day.
