The Gala evening at “Skampa”, which closed the calendar year of activities in Elbasan, culminated with a big festive concert, under the special care of the mayor, Gledian Llatja.

This year, the “Grand Gala” has brought on stage 150 artists from Elbasan, under the direction of maestro Antonio Pine and the performance of the Elbasan String Orchestra, the Children’s Cultural Center, the Afërdita Brass Band.

The emblems of the “Skampa” theater have also been honored with the title “Honour of the City” over the years, such as Hasan Hoxha, Thoma Kristo and Tomorr Shishmani.

In his greeting, the mayor, Gledian Llatja, affirmed that this year that we are leaving behind has been full of activities in the field of theater, music, puppet theater, dance, etc.

Well-known local, national and international artists have appeared on this stage this year. We had dignified activities that continue to uphold the professionalism of the “Skampa” Theatre.

Llatja has honored with the title “Honor of the city” 3 artists, who have given a lot to this theater, artistic life and the city.

Hasan Hoxha was honored with this title, (posthumously) the title “Honor of the City” with the motivation “For his valuable contribution as an intellectual, scientific researcher and as a director of the Puppet Theater in the education and entertainment of children for generations”.

Thoma Kristo (given posthumously) the title “Honor of the City” with the motivation “For outstanding contribution as an actor and director to the professional and amateur artistic movement in the greater Elbasan”.

Tomorr Shishmani is awarded the title “Honor of the City” with the motivation “For the contribution made as an actor and director with a high artistic level in the Professional Theater “Skampa” and in the amateur artistic movement”.
