The National Library of Albania and the National Book and Reading Center on the 110th anniversary of the birth of the writer Petro Marko opened  the exhibition “Petro Marko – the 110th anniversary of his birth”, with the participation of the writer’s family members, researchers, writers, translators, art lovers etc.

The director of the National Library, Piro Misha, and the director of the National Book and Reading Center, Alda Bardhyli, evaluating the personality of Albanian men letters, emphasized the importance of such activities as “the best form to remember and pass on to generations the legacy of the personalities that make up the pantheon of Albanian culture”.

The event was also greeted by the writer Diana Çuli, the researcher Behar Gjoka, as well as the writer’s daughter, Arianita Marko, who shared with the attendees their appreciation and memories of the writer.

Petro Marko is considered one of the most important writers of Albanian letters, who has left a rich legacy in publishing poetry, stories, novels, dramas, journalism, memoirs, etc.
