Margariti: An immersive exhibition titled ‘Touch Angels and Saints Up Close’ is taking place at the Digital Arts Gallery in Korça

This upcoming weekend, Korça will once again take center stage. On December 23, in the city known for serenades and year-round tourism, one of the country’s most exceptional exhibitions is set to open.

“Come experience the closeness to angels and saints! The iconographic treasures of the National Museum of Medieval Art come to life through technology for the first time at the Museum of Digital Arts in Korça,” shared Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti, on social media.

The Digital Arts Gallery (GAD) will provide an extraordinary experience through this unique exhibition, offering an exceptional pre-holiday attraction.

GAD extends an invitation to art enthusiasts via social media, stating: “Embark on an unprecedented exploration of our cultural heritage! This isn’t just an exhibition; it’s a voyage through time.”

The inaugural immersive exhibition of digital art, “Albanian Iconography: The Great Masters,” will be accessible to the public starting December 23 and thereafter, from Tuesday to Sunday, between 12:00 and 20:00.

As stated on the Korçë Digital Art Gallery website, visitors should anticipate an incredible visual odyssey traversing centuries of Albanian iconography. This journey unfolds through the remarkable works of the esteemed masters of medieval art.

The realization of this exhibition has been made possible through the generous support and funding provided by the National Museum of Medieval Art.
