The leader of the group, Agim Gërguri spoke about their music and the good feeling you get when you hear their songs being sung in any country and by any generation.

Speaking about his love for Albania, Gërguri said that since when he was very young, they had always called Albania mother and they continue to say that the three cities he loves the most are Prishtina, Tirana and Ulqin.

“I wish the critics would talk about us. It’s a good feeling that everyone is singing our songs”.

We feel good that our songs are being sung everywhere. Actually, even in Kosova, we didn’t have very good conditions to make rock music because everything was expensive. The songs are designed to be simple and catchy by all ages,” said the singer of the band, Agim Gërguri.

Asked by the moderator how they started rock music in those years, the music band members said that in those years they liked to listen to folk songs and classical music and that was na incentive to start playing rock music themselves.

While lawyer Spartak Ngjela spoke about the group “Fisnikët” recalling that he has heard their songs since 1992 and the songs were inspiring to him.

“The first Albanians, who sang rock, formed their own strong team. I have listened to them since the 1992s and I have always liked them, on “Broadway” street [former spot in Tirana, colloquially known with that name] they usually sang rock and this group is the first Albanian group that sang rock. I have some tunes that I listen to; I used to read works of art because I needed it for eloquence then a friend told me I got energy from music. The rock of this band stands out in their music,” said lawyer Ngjela.

Asked by moderator Blerta Tafani what brought everyone together today, Saimir Çili said that it was the good and quality music.

“It’s a good and retrospective music of the years before the 1990s and afterwards. I was a teenager when I heard Fisnikët. Kosova has been a little freer musically to perform, even to make music. While rock bands in Albania started after the 1990s. The groups of Kosovan Albanians in those yearsplayed ‘bio’ music,” said Saimir Cili.

While the singer Egzona Ademi spoke about the band Fisnikites in terms of legends of rock music as a music that will never die.

“They are legends like the songs that never die, so will the music of the band Fisnikët. I have been listening to them since I was a child,” she said.
