The most important event of the theater stage for young people, “HAPAT” /The Steps/ Theater Festival kicks off today.

The 10 dramas of the “HAPAT” festival will be shown from December 5 to 10, on the stage of the National Experimental Theater “Kujtim Spahivogli” and in the black box hall of the University of Arts.

The “HAPAT” theater festival is the final stage of the Youth Theater Fund, which aims to encourage, promote and create supportive spaces for the independent artistic scene, especially in the field of theater, offering the opportunity for the theater as a voice of truth to go all over the country.

This Fund of the Albanian Ministry of Culture has put in motion young creators and performers as well as oriented them to work and ensure the smooth running of not only the theater infrastructure in Tirana, but also in Korça, Shkodër, Vlora, Elbasan and Gjirokastër.

The “HAPAT” festival has a competitive nature. Prices will be awarded by a professional jury for the best show, best direction, best actor, best actress, best choreography, best scenography, best costume design, and best soundtrack.

The professional jury is composed of Besfort Idrizi, Robert Nuha, Endri Sina, Alert Çeloaliaj, Sofi Kara, Beqo Nanaj, Iris Canaj.
