Singer Martina Serreqi, a guest on “Good Morning Albania,” discussed her participation in the 62nd Song Festival on National Radio Television (RTSH), marking her debut appearance. She expressed not a desire for victory but rather a hope that her song resonates with and is appreciated by the audience.

“Only you” is the ballad through which Serreqi will compete in the Song Festival at RTSH.

“It’s a tremendous responsibility. It was my dream. Now that I’ve reached the appropriate age, I’m entering the festival in a dignified manner,” explained Serreqi.

“‘Only You’ is a ballad that I believe will resonate well with the audience. It truly suits me. It’s a song dedicated to someone you love, not just romantically, but also for family members. It encapsulates the fear that everyone experiences concerning a particular person,” she added.

“I may not have expectations of winning, but I do hope the song resonates with the public. This marks my debut at the festival,” said Serreqi.

Another interviewed singer is Sergio Hajdini who is participating for the third-time in the festival. He highlighted that his song, “Hurricane,” explores human resilience against natural phenomena.

He emphasized that various elements contribute to achieving victory, citing factors such as the public’s support, the jury’s evaluation, the quality of the live performance, among others.

“This marks my third participation—it’s a significant responsibility. It’s a stroke of luck for an artist to be part of this event. Crafting the song took me two months, and I’m still refining the final details. The song is titled ‘Hurricane,’ portraying the strength of humanity against natural forces. It emphasizes how people remain resilient and overcome various situations,” elaborated Hajdini.

“It’s crucial for artists to feel content with their work; afterward, the outcome relies on the audience, the jury, and the live performance. Numerous factors contribute to achieving a significant victory,” he stated.
