With the song “A bit of sun”, the 11-year-old Albanian Kejtli Gjata won “Junior Fest Albania 2022”. 

“Junior Fest Albania 2022”, the largest children’s song festivals has been organized by RTSH for 8 years.

Their winners have represented Albania in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. This year, 18 songs were selected at the festival, performed live by children from 9-14 years old.

The songs were selected by the jury chaired by the well-known musician Robert Radoja. They participated as members and winners of the past editions of Junior Fest; Kejsi Tola, Efi Gjika and Ana Gjebrea.

The songs gave messages about peace, violence against children, love for the hometown or patriotism, etc.

The winning song “Pakëz diell” with the resounding call for peace by Kejtli Djata will represent Albania in the 20th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022, which will take place on December 11 in Yerevan, Armenia.
