TIRANA, December 16 – A delegation from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport took part in the ministerial meeting of the Council of Ministers of Culture of Southeast Europe. The organizers held the meeting in cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

The meeting served as a key platform for strengthening regional cooperation. It also placed culture at the center of sustainable development.

Deputy Minister Lira Pipa presented Albania’s commitments and priorities at the ministerial meeting. She outlined actions on cultural heritage protection, digitalization, and the strengthening of creative industries. She also highlighted the role of communities and young people in cultural policies.

Meanwhile, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport Blendi Gonxhja commented on the event through social media. He said Albania’s participation reaffirmed the country’s active role in regional cultural dialogue. He added that Albania remained committed to turning cultural heritage into a driver of development, cooperation, and shared identity.
