Albania-Kosova-Croatia Defense Agreement, PM Rama: Serbia’s Approach Backward

Prime Minister Edi Rama described Serbia’s reaction to the Albania-Kosova-Croatia defense cooperation agreement as a product of backward thinking.
Rama emphasized that the pact is not a military alliance aimed at attacking anyone. It is an agreement among three democratic states to collaborate in the field of defense. He noted that any agitation over the pact reflects outdated perspectives rather than the agreement itself.
The Prime Minister stressed that Kosova has no ties to Serbia and should not consider Serbia in its future path. He added that Kosovo has won the war and must now secure peace, focusing on its own responsibilities within the democratic community.
PM Rama underlined that Kosova should fulfill its commitments under the dialogue with Serbia unilaterally and move forward without being distracted by Serbia’s positions. He warned that Kosova risks losing more by focusing on Serbia than Serbia itself does.
