State Minister for Parliamentary Relations Erjona Ismaili met a delegation from the United States House of Representatives on Monday. They discussed ways to modernise Albania’s legislative process and strengthen parliamentary institutions.

The talks also covered technology and artificial intelligence. The participants discussed their use to improve transparency and efficiency. They also discussed Albania’s path towards European Union membership through continued reforms and stronger democratic institutions.

Ismaili stressed the importance of exchanging experience with United States partners. She said this cooperation can strengthen institutional capacity and support more modern parliamentary processes. The minister also described the United States partnership as important for strengthening and modernising democratic institutions.
