Albanian Defence Minister Ermal Nufi met with Major General Roberto Vergori, the new commander of NATO’s Kosovo Force (KFOR), in Tirana on October 20. They discussed KFOR’s role in ensuring security and stability in Kosovo and maintaining peace across the region.

During the meeting, Nufi highlighted the importance of KFOR for Albania. He said Albania’s continued contribution to the mission reflects its commitment to strengthening security and stability in Kosovo and the wider region.

Nufi also congratulated Vergori on his new role. He stressed that Albania remains committed to its responsibilities as a NATO member and will continue to support joint efforts to build a safer, more stable region based on cooperation.
