Albanian lawmaker Taulant Balla met US General Wesley Clark during his visit to New York. Clark served as Supreme Allied Commander Europe and led NATO’s air campaign in 1999 during the war in Kosova.

Balla expressed gratitude to Clark for his role during NATO’s intervention and for his support for the Kosova Liberation Army, known as the KLA. He also thanked Clark for statements and testimony at The Hague in support of former KLA commanders and his position on the Kosova war.

Meanwhile, the meeting took place during Balla’s visit to the United States, where he is holding meetings with political figures and representatives of the Albanian-American community.
