Albanian Students to Protest Again in Skopje Over Language Rights

Albanian students in North Macedonia announced a new protest for Monday in Skopje. The demonstration will start at 16:30 near the Stone Bridge.
Students demand the right to take the jurisprudence exam in the Albanian language. They will hold the protest under the slogan “Join the students – all with one voice.”
The students also protested on April 6 this year. They asked authorities to allow the exam in their mother tongue, Albanian.
Protesters want the exam process to be fully available in Albanian and equal for all candidates. They also call for full implementation of language rights guaranteed by law.
